It worked well for my daughter who is 3. She had no bites at all or ticks from our camping trip. I am an absolute magnet for mosquitoes, and it didn’t work well for me. Maybe I should have reapplied more often than instructed. I’ll give it another shot, but I didn’t have any issues with ticks.

This is the only bug spray that works on my child. The mosquitos and black flies just love to bite my poor kid and I’ve tried several bug sprays, this is the best one and it’s all natural. I bought my first bottle at Hannafords and was so happy to find it on Amazon.

I use this on children in a hot, humid mosquito filled environment. Without spray, kids will get ate up within minutes of going outside.What I love about this spray is it’s not greasy at all. A lot of your other deet free bug sprays use soybean oil. It makes such a slimy mess every where you go. This stuff does not do that at all.It smells like vinegar, but smell doesn’t last.Hurts the eyes a tad if some blows in your face, but doesn’t last.Every ingredient is safe so I don’t really worry if some does get into my eyes.Spray every area of exposed skin. Works like a charm. As long as all areas get spayed, I have no issues with mosquito bites.No one has reacted to it yet. Been using it for a year.Probably my biggest complaint is just application. Your bigger bug spray brands do have easier application. This is just a little finger squirt bottle. BUT that does make it easy to really only spray where you need it. So you aren’t wasting this stuff. So maybe that isn’t a con.

We’ve been using this for going on 4 years after purchasing at Whole Foods pre-pandemic and we love it! The kids don’t mind the smell and it’s lightly fragranced. It works amazing at keeping away pesky bugs we encounter in the northeast US forests while hiking and camping. Works great for mosquitoes and horse/deer flies but you must reapply frequently when the bugs are really bad. We have found using it in conjunction with Nantucket Spider tick repellent is the miracle bug repellent combo. Happy outdoor adventures to you!

The top was loose. There was not a lot of the liquid that ran out. It was a very big mess.
